A Man is his mid 20's, Vincent, like the great James Tiberius Kirk himself, always had a troubled history, but always managed to come out on top. His father, James A Vincent Sr., was formerly a Starfleet Admiral who commanded the 9th fleet during the Dominion Wars, and his mother served on one of the ships under his command. He was born on the USS Celsius NCC-1107 during an attack by a Borg Cube, which in turn was destroyed by the USS Enterprise-E under the command of Captain Data. His first posting upon graduation from the Academy was Second officer on the USS Voyager-A. After spending 4 or 5 years on that vessel until Voyager's return to the Federation, he came bursting with energy and looking for a challenge and, as a result, was immediately transferred to the newly built and commissioned USS Enterprise NCC-1701-H as that starship's new first officer.
