Bio: Kina was born on Cardassia Prime. Her father is Legate Nur'al, and head of the Cardassian Military Council who is rumored to have ties and contacts within the Obsidian Order. Kina never knew her mother, but according to her father, her mother died at childbirth, and that she looks exactly like her. When Kina was old enough, she left Cardassia Prime and went to Earth to join Starfleet. After she graduated from the academy, she decided to move towards medicine. Once she was finished at Starfleet Medical, she was assigned to the USS Phoenix, a recommisioned Ambassador Class Starship, as Medical Officer under Jacob Zax. After the Phoenix was destroyed, Kina was reassigned to the Voyager. It was there that she met the first officer, Nerxion Cryax, the ships first officer. They were wed in the traditional Cerican manner and became husband and wife.
